American Queen Steamboat’s American Duchess Named with Bourbon
/American Queen Steamboat Company’s American Duchess was christened on August 14, 2017, in New Orleans on the Mississippi. The 166-guest riverboat, the first all-suite paddlewheeler on America’s rivers. The American Duchess features spacious Veranda Suites with sliding glass doors to private balconies and Interior Suites. The new vessel incorporates high standards of service, entertainment and shore excursions. It features open seating with two dining venues, the Grand Dining Room and the River Club and Terrace, which offer regionally inspired cuisine similar to that of the American Queen. She sails the Mississippi River. American Duchess offers a variety of voyage lengths, ranging from six days and up, with fares beginning at $2,999 per guest. Included are pre- or post-cruise hotel stay, all bottled water and soft drinks, wine and beer at dinner and complimentary shore excursions.
